DEPUTY COURSE MANAGER

Enmore Park Golf Club established in 1906 is one of Somerset’s premier parkland golf courses. Our members' club boasts high-quality golf facilities with panoramic views over Britain’s first area of outstanding beauty.

The vacancy of Deputy Course Manager has arisen and is an excellent opportunity to join a hardworking and committed team. The golf club is looking to appoint a highly motivated enthusiastic person who is expected to show strong leadership and team player qualities.

Applicants will, as a minimum be expected to possess the following attributes/experience:

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • 5 years minimum experience with a background of organisational skills within the workplace
  • Deputise in the Course Managers absence
  • Good communication skills
  • PA1, PA2, PA6 spraying certificates
  • Good knowledge of modern turf machinery
  • Knowledge of the operation and repair of automated irrigation systems
  • Knowledge of all health and safety practices and legislation
  • Has an interest or good understanding of the game of golf
  • Full UK driving License

CHEF/COOK

We're looking for an enthusiastic person that wants to join a dynamic, fun and forward-thinking team.

The ideal person will have some experience and knowledge from working within the kitchen with HACCP, health and safety, good general housekeeping, general cooking and prep.

Offering a traditional golf club menu, covering breakfast and lunchtime services, all our food is prepared on-site in our kitchens and served to club members and visitors alike.  

This role is the perfect step for someone looking to further develop and broaden their catering skills but without the kind of pressure that is common in many restaurant kitchens.

As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to influence our menus and help progress the catering offering at our club.  If you've got food ideas, we want to hear them!

You'll be rewarded with a competitive salary, in addition to hours that are very sociable for the hospitality sector.

FRONT OF HOUSE ASSISTANT

We are looking for an energetic, bubbly and motivated individual who would enjoy being part of our friendly front of house team

We serve breakfast, lunch & dinner whilst servicing the needs of our busy, thriving membership base. In addition to the Bar and Restaurant, we have a busy function business catering for conferences, private dining and weddings.

CLUBHOUSE CLEANER - WEEKENDS PLUS OCCASIONAL WEEKDAY RELIEF

We are looking to employ a cleaner to clean the clubhouse, office and changing room facilities at Enmore Park on weekend mornings, plus occasional work on weekdays to cover staff leave.

Three hours are needed to be worked on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and there is a little flexibility in those hours. Cleaning will need to be completed by 11:00am.

Training will of course be provided, as will all of the required cleaning materials. You will need your own transport as there is no public transport to the club. 

We offer a very friendly working environment and competitive pay that recognises the requirement for weekend working.
