Cards for 2026
Just a reminder that the Club Competition Rules currently require members to have submitted a stipulated number of cards in the previous calendar year (January – December) to be eligible to win a prize in a club competition.
Rule 1.4 b) states: Members must have submitted a stipulated number of cards in the previous calendar year (January – December) to be eligible to win a prize in a club competition. For Board/Trophy and knockout competitions, the minimum number of cards required will be six, of which at least three cards must have been completed in a competition. For all other club competitions, the minimum number of cards required will be three (competition or general play cards).
Therefore, to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements for 2026, you will need to submit the required number of cards between 1st January & 31st December 2025.
We have run a report from the England Golf WHS portal for the period 1st January – 30th June 2025 so members can see how many cards they have submitted in the first 6 months of the year – please click on the appropriate link below:

Medical Exemptions for any health-related issues are available on a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of the Club Competitions Committee. If you believe you qualify for a medical exemption, please advise Harry Brown who will liaise with the Committee.
In addition, new players who have recently received their handicap will be exempt from the required number of cards rule for 6 months from the date they receive their handicap to allow them sufficient time to submit the required number of cards.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Harry who will ensure that you receive a prompt response.
